Slow Motion Video
Here we experimented with filming movement in slow motion. We used a smartphone as our camera as this had a slow motion capture setting (120 fps). We filmed both outside and in the drama studio. To develop our final film we worked in the drama studio using a wind machine to make a number of sequences of flowing fabric against a projected background of a blue sky (as the weather was against us). Shooting in slow motion we found that not only was the movement slowed down, but the sound was aswell. This has been used in the finished piece. The sounds you can hear are a combination of the wind machine, our voices and the sounds of the seagulls that are often heard at the centre.
